Elixir return to Italy in November to take part in a 30th Anniversary NWOBHM fest, and
confirm appearance at the Metal Merchants Festival in Norway in January

ELIXIR'S 'THE SON OF ODIN' FEATURED AS THE
'CLASSIC ALBUM OF THE MONTH' IN
SWEDEN ROCK MAGAZINE

We are very pleased and honoured that our debut album, 'The Son of Odin'
has been selected as the 'Classic Album of the Month' by Sweden Rock Magazine.

NEW ALBUM UPDATE

The title for the new studio album, our fifth, will be "All Hallows Eve".
Songs will include the 14 minute 'epic' "Samhain", "The Pagan Queen", "Daughters of the Moon",
"The Spell", "You're Not Fooling Me", "All Hallows Eve" and "Midnight Messiah".

"Midnight Messiah" was performed live at Hard Rock Hell III, and described in a
recent edition of Classic Rock Magazine by writer Geoff Barton as a "soaring anthem".

Artist Duncan Storr, who's artwork has graced many covers including Hawkwind's "Chronicles" album
and our own "Lethal Potion", agreed to create the cover artwork, and worked in close collaboration
with the band to create a great cover that suitably reflects the theme of the album.

The songs are currently at the mastering stage, and will be ready for pressing in September,
meaning that we are on schedule for our release on All Hallows Eve - October 31st,
to coincide with our appearance at October's 'Mosh 4 Dosh' charity event.

 'THE SON OF ODIN' VOTED ONE OF THE TOP 20 POWER METAL ALBUMS EVER!
In issue 137 (Nov 2005) of 'Terrorizer' Magazine, Elixir's debut classic album 'The Son of Odin' was included in the top 20 Power Metal
albums of all time, alongside such other greats as Judas Priest's 'Painkiller, Helloween's 'Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II'
and Cirith Ungol's 'King of the Dead'. In an article entitled 'The Pinnacles of Power' it states that "there were many, many great albums
which didn't make the final roll of honour, such is the body of excellence which has acrued since the earliest days of the scene",
and states that the 20 albums chosen "represent the pinnacle of the genre in all it's various guises".
